A Glassware Guide for Greatest Joy

There are two glasses that weโ€™ve gravitated toward as our go-to while drinking the beers we make at Barrel Heart.

The lambic tumbler glass is our vessel for farmhouse beers, displaying a wobbly beer meringue of proud head that lifts high off the rim of the glass. Our aged gose (๐™’๐™–๐™จ๐™๐™š๐™™ ๐˜ผ๐™ฌ๐™–๐™ฎ ๐™—๐™ฎ ๐™Ž๐™š๐™–), aged saison (๐™Š๐™ช๐™—๐™ก๐™ž๐™š๐™ฉ๐™ฉ๐™š ๐™ค๐™› ๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ซ๐™š๐™จ), and biรจre de coupage (๐˜ผ ๐™๐™–๐™ง๐™ข๐™๐™ค๐™ช๐™จ๐™š ๐™‰๐™š๐™–๐™ง) all find a regular home in the lambic tumbler.

Ourย stemware, a white wine glass,ย is an excellent choice for our aged saisons on fruit. The glassโ€™s bowl traps layers of aromatics as they open and breathe, while still retaining the dense, rocky head that we prize in a saison.

We encourage you to experiment with glassware and find the vessel that brings you the greatest joy. Anything we can do to enhance the experience of drinking beer with friends and family, in laughter and stillness, is an endeavour worth sharing.

Both our glasses are available for purchase from our in-person and online bottle shop. Cheers!
