6.2% ABV | 750ml | Aged Saison on White Wine Grapes

In morning light, while humming a tune, picking ripe grapes, bold and blue, a songbird set down and chirped along too, bringing two songs to the vineyard.

Process & tasting notes: This saison is blended from beer aged in a single demi muid barrel for 16 months onto hand-picked Gewurztraminer and Viognier grapes from the Malivoire Wine and Stouck family vineyards in Beamsville, Ontario.

We have been working with winemaker Dan Stouck for a number of years, playing with the borders between wine and beer – seeking wine-like tannin and acid profiles in our farmhouse beers, finding intersections between aromatics found in our saison and wine grapes.

The result of our 2023 grape harvest is a saison on aromatic white wine grapes known for their tropical, lychee and stone fruit notes. The base beer was brewed with a small amount of Nelson Sauvin hops grown in the Nelson region of New Zealand, contributing gooseberry and lime notes similar to Sauvignon Blanc.

Two Songs to the Vineyard is a beautiful saison that sings to the fullest on warm, sunny days on the patio. We hope you enjoy this beer, in laughter and in stillness.

Serving suggestions: Enjoy in a white wine glass.
