Process & tasting notes: Made in the piquette tradition for workers in a winery, Montmorency Cherry is a spritz produced from a wash of pure reverse osmosis water on Twenty Valley sour cherries that fermented with barrel-aged saison. We make this low-alcohol beer at just 1.8% as a refreshing beverage to drink while working in the brewery.
Montmorency Cherry has the essence of tart cherry, with underlying notes of soft vanilla-oak. With its spritzy carbonation and cleansing acidity, we reach for Montmorency Cherry when seeking the complex flavours of our house Brettanomyces with minimal alcohol.
